Oregon’s camping music festival scene continues to blossom each year - and the secret is getting out. With venues located amongst the beauty of the Cascade range and promoters enticing amazing national acts, Oregon is quickly becoming the summer festival destination that doesn’t require battling the crowds. Here’s a list of the best Oregon camping music festivals for 2021.


July 8-9, 2022 in Canby, Oregon

Harefest Oregon

Canby, Oregon is staging the 10th year of their epic tribute band fest. The music will inspire nostalgia and new memories with 20+ bands who relive some of the greatest personalities of the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s.

Camp onsite with your own tent or RV, or treat yourself to a glamping tent, as an onsite glamping village will be erected to suit the needs as a home far away from home. What more could you ask for, with 70’s - 90’s music era tributing classics in a festival camping environment.

Wildwood Music Fest

In the efforts to benefit the West Valley near Willamina, this family-friendly and eco-friendly initiative promotes good clean fun. Local musicians and Indie artists are preparing to jam at the center stage, late into the evening.

Revenues from the festival will be donated to agricultural/music programs plus the local public schools, so you can rock our and feel extra warm and fuzzy doing it.

Camping is available in the open field just a short walk to the venue so bring your canvas tent and soak in the local food, wine/cider, and activities in the Great Northwest.  Get your tickets fast, as this festival is becoming less and less a best kept secret on in the Oregon music festival scene.

Exciting local and national artists perform over the weekend that brings together an amazing energy. Camping is a must. The wooded terrain can accommodate glamping tents festival-goers, but get their early, as the camping spots are first come first serve. 

Oregon Jamboree

Linn County hosts Oregon Jamboree - a huge annual country music bash. The entertaining weekend will be filled with over 25 musical acts on 2 stages. Attendees will have their choice of artisanal food, beer, and a range of crowd-pleasing activities.

The Jamboree lined up with the likes of Terri Clark, Lindsay Ell, and BlackHawk; supporting acts of Scotty McCreery, Neal McCoy, and High Valley. Along with the fantastic tunes, an intimate-filled concert atmosphere will have a glamping tent experience and many other camping options.

4 Peaks Music Festival

August 19-20 2021 at Stevenson Ranch in Bend, Oregon

This premier event will rule over summer with world-class musicians, art and fun for family and friends. The weekend program in the past included Railroad Earth, Los Lobos, The Infamous Stringdusters, Greensky Bluegrass, and Billy Strings, to name a few.

4 Peaks are widely known for their festival camping, so campers are encouraged to either bring their camping gear or purchase one of their luxury yurt package. Along with the music, yoga, and various workshops, “silent rave” is back by popular demand.  

Northwest String Summit

Just 20 miles out of Portland, Horning’s Hideout is the country’s bluegrass paradise and recognized as one of the most scenic festivals on site. The locally-sourced festival has unbeatable camping options, exclusive family-oriented activities, as well as late-night tunes for the night owls. So, grab your canvas tent and immerse to 80 hours worth of folk jam with more than 40 musical bands on 5 beautifully-installed stages.

Beloved Festival

The event is dubbed as a transformational movement, the musical genres are as diverse and eclectic as ever. Giving attention to diversity, they have musical acts offering ancient Middle-Eastern to contemporary electronica. 11 years running, the Oregon fest will render enthusiasts meditative, spiritual, and environmentally-conscious. Festival-goers can choose from a few camping options from simple camping to exotic glamping tents.

Campgrounds will have amenity arrangements, it is suggested to pack up your gear and bring yourself to the party.  

Oregon Country Fair

This legendary 3-day festival, running since 1969, offers versatile themes and unique experiences and is a must see. The fair focuses on local art and vendors which give back to the community. Food is plenty, with a variety of global cuisines to taste. Just like any fair, music is not the only thing that takes center stage. Other types of entertainment like juggling, belly dancing, and puppeteering will grab everyone’s attention.

It is kid friendly, if you don’t mind them seeing some nudity here and there. The fair doesn’t offer onsite festival camping, however, neighborhood campsites businesses welcome campers. 

Northwest World Reggae Festival(“NWWRF”)

The only roots reggae festival in Oregon has lined up these artists for 2020: Dubtonic Kru, Aaron Nigel Smith, Prezident Brown, Hempress Sativa, Ras Indio, plus many more. Oregonians dedicate the creative energies that leave them inspired to visit year after year. NWWRF is a family-friendly fest that has got a Kid Zone to preoccupy them with arts & crafts and games.

Organizers strive to instill environmental practices, with the hope that everyone follows the organic route. Experience the uplifting experience by bringing a canvas tent to sleep under the stars with your reggae friends.

Shift Festival

The Shift Festival campout is full of performance arts, music, and light/fire shows, culture, appreciation, and self-expression. Get your senses heightened with EDM DJs and bands with Orso, October, Jet Black Pearl, Vamarcha, and Hot Damn Scandal, to having you raving all night!   Art installations and 10 theme camps will be overwhelming to indulge in 4 days. However, it will be a miss if not all of the variety acts are not absorbed.

Walk-in camping is included with the ticket price, and premium glamping tents will be present if you want an even more special occasion.


August 21-23 2021 - VIRTUAL

This mythical fairyland themed fest will transport festival-goers’ spirit to an otherworldly realm. Internationally-acclaimed artists from Europe and Canada sprinkle their magic from the stage. Spectacular themed booths provide enchantments from local organic food, beer, wine, and face-painting. Catered for the family too, this is an enchanting getaway which triggers the festival camping motivation to saunter in your imagination. The spacious ground is ideal for recreational fanatics who wish to camp in a glamping tent.

Sisters Folk Festival

Held after Labor Day, the annual 3-day folk event will get you covered on everything from music to art workshop activities. Performers take the stage at various venues around Sisters, OR.

The festival has no facilities to accommodate any camping spots but urge festival attendees to check out the festival’s lodging partners. Likewise, with no option to stay in glamping tents, visitors can check out the info with either the Sisters Area or Bend Chamber of Commerce.
