Each tent only takes about 20-25 minutes to set up on your own (of course having a partner can speed this up). We do provide helpful instructions to speed up the process! Here is a video on how to perform a bell tent setup and take down. We also have written instructions available here.

4-meter (13') bell tents are best set-up on a flat, 18-20 foot diameter space.
5-meter (16’4") bell tents are best set-up on a flat, 25-30 foot diameter space.
A 6-meter bell tent could use a 30-35 foot diameter for a comfortable set-up.
If you are pitching several tents, then the guy lines can overlap to share some of the space.

You sure can, but this will require various levels and types of maintenance depending on the climate your tent will be exposed to.
Snow may require that you install a thicker center pole and remove ice from around your tent. Tropical & humid climates will require extra care (as with everything outdoors) to eliminating standing moisture inside and out of the tent.

Our canvas treated to protect the canvas from mold & mildew, but over time this will wear off and will need retreatment with 303 Fabric Guard.
Make sure to keep grass and other plants cut back from touching the canvas of your tent, as these items create and trap moisture that can cause mold growth.

Our bell tents come with a pre-built stove jack hole on the ceiling. You can cut the hole larger, up to 6", to accommodate a stove pipe.
You will need to attached stove jack flashing kit to your tent.
We recommend that your stove pipe exit a minimum of 18" above the canvas ceiling.

Our tents are waterproof. The bell tents can be used in all 4 seasons – through rain, snow and sleet. Each season may require that you take extra maintenance steps.
They can even hold strong in winds over 50 mph. But do exercise caution around trees in high wind, as they can fall into your campsite.
