Winnerwell 3.5" Triple Wall Pipe Section

"Temps were in the upper 20's,The stove kept the tent nice and toasty!" - Jennifer R.

Where your stovepipe passes through the stove jack is the hottest point of contact between your stove and your tent. The Winnerwell 3.5" Triple Wall Pipe Section adds an insulating sleeve at that exit point, so the hot flue pipe never touches your stove jack or canvas directly. We strongly recommend it for every Large Woodlander setup in a Life inTents bell tent.

TIP:   Pair this with a short pipe section to properly align the triple wall section at the exit point.

Only available for sale in the USA.

A wood stove changes what a canvas tent can be. Cool mornings get easier, shoulder seasons get longer, and your bell tent starts to feel like a real cabin. Running a stove inside a tent also means managing heat where it matters most, which is the spot where the chimney leaves the tent.

A single-wall stovepipe gets extremely hot during a burn. The Triple Wall Pipe Section replaces the standard pipe section at the stove jack with three layers of 304 stainless steel. The outer wall stays well separated from the flue, so the pipe touching your stove jack runs much cooler than bare pipe. Less heat at the exit point reduces wear on your stove jack and gives you more margin during long, steady burns.

It installs in your chimney run like any other pipe section. Place it so it passes through the stove jack, and the rest of your pipe stacks above and below it as usual. The 4.7" outer diameter is designed to pair with the Winnerwell Silicone Flashing Kit for a cleaner, more weather-resistant seal around the pipe.

This section works with Large Winnerwell stoves that use 3.5" diameter pipe, including the Large Woodlander we carry. It doesn't replace good stove practice. Keep a clear zone around the stove, use a spark arrestor, ventilate the tent, and use a carbon monoxide detector whenever you burn inside. Think of it as one inexpensive part that protects a much bigger investment, which is your tent.

DETAILS

  • TRIPLE WALL HEAT SEPARATION keeps the hot inner flue from touching your stove jack or tent fabric, reducing heat at the most vulnerable point of a hot-tent setup
  • PROTECTS YOUR STOVE JACK and canvas from direct contact with bare flue pipe, especially valuable for frequent campers and long-term setups
  • 304 STAINLESS STEEL is corrosion resistant and built to handle repeated heating cycles
  • DROP-IN INSTALLATION; fits into your existing 3.5” Winnerwell chimney run with no tools or adapters
  • 4.7” outer diameter is designed to pair with a Silicone Flashing Kit for a weather-resistant seal around the pipe
  • Recommended for Woodlander Setups: We strongly recommend a triple wall pipe section wherever your Large Woodlander’s chimney exits a Life inTents bell tent.  Likely you will need a short pipe section to help this exit your tent at the correct location.
  • Safety Considerations: This section reduces heat at the stove jack but does not replace safe stove practice. Keep clear space around the stove, use a spark arrestor, ventilate the tent, use a carbon monoxide detector, and never leave a hot stove unattended.
